Project successes have a high dependency on excellent project
management. At the onset of a project we will propose a team
structure built on sound principles and experience and will
ensure that this reflects the partnership requirements of
our client. In this way we will facilitate project controls,
exchange of information and clear lines of communication,
responsibility and accountability for getting the job done.
The Fusionex Project Manager will also be responsible for
all communication onshore and offshore, he will report upwards
to management personnel for the purposes of tracking milestones,
managing risks, preventing scope creep and measuring performance.
Depending on the size of the project and the resource requirements
we encourage forward planning. Whilst the scope and/or functional
specification will allow us to assess the number of development
resources required, a more accurate estimate of team numbers
is often finalized by the end of the design phase. Last minute
changes in requirements may result in additional or fewer
resources being needed, however Fusionex offers flexibility
in managing these types of changes to the schedule.
As your outsource partner Fusionex will provide recommendations
on Total Quality Management (TQM). Our focus is to provide
a foundation to deliver quality service, added value and to contribute
to the success of our customers.
All our software development is undertaken offshore in our
modern offices located in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. This helps
optimise resources and guarantees cost savings to our customers.
Our project manager will coordinate planning with the offshore development
team and onshore client resources.
Relationship management will be managed on two fronts: one
commercial and one technical. Fusionex will provide a named
commercial account manager who will act as the commercial
interface for the client user group. The Account Manager will
be responsible for managing client expectations, user requests
and wish lists. Working with the Project Steering Group
and user group, he will ensure commercial goals are realised.
He will also be responsible for managing customer and departmental
relationships, providing research and development information
at early stages of the project and ensuring that all partners
are working in unison for the goals of the customer.
The technical account manager will act as the liaison between the onshore
account manager and the technical teams offshore ensuring that all aspects of technical delivery
meet with customer expectation. Working with the onshore account manager he will be responsible for consolidating
existing technology whilst promoting new concepts, methods and tools. He will also be
closely involved in ensuring customer satisfaction and optimizing the relationship between
technical personnel and user groups.
We have a TQM system that provides overall guidelines to
meet our customer’s quality objectives. We will be rigorous
in implementing this system to guarantee a successful delivery
of your project. We would recommend that QA processes are
fully agreed upon before the production phase. We also will recommend
a framework for testing during and after the development phase
at each milestone of the project. UAT testing standards will
be agreed with the client’s project manager and will
be conducted onshore by the client user group.
We develop transition plans that consider all aspects
of the implementation, ranging from people and technical issues
to application and process. Our Implementation services provide
assurance to our clients that all aspects of architecture
design are consistent in content and quality, and will deliver
against overall business objectives.
